Wimbledon 2025 is shaping up to be a bloodbath, and Tommy Paul is the latest domino to fall. Paul, the No. 13 seed and one of the highest-ranked Americans at the tournament, fell to Austrian Sebastian Ofner in four sets.
Paul was dominant to start, taking the first set 6-1. But then Ofner fought back, taking the next three highly-contested sets, 7-5, 6-4, 7-5.

This year's Wimbledon has already seen a huge number of upsets in the first two rounds of play. On the women's side, four of the five top-seeded players were eliminated in the first three days; several top men's players, including Frances Tiafoe and No. 4-seeded Jack Draper have also lost in the early rounds of the tournament.
