Texas A's big win was costly in latest injury update

Texas A&M left South Bend with a win that turned heads across college football. Taking down then-No. 8 Notre Dame showed the Aggies are a serious SEC contender. But the victory wasn’t without pain. Williams had been everywhere against Notre Dame, even recording a highlight interception against freshman quarterback CJ Carr. That diving play, ironically, ended his night. He never returned to action, leaving Aggie fans holding their breath.

Williams was already off to a hot start, tallying 12 tackles and 2.5 for loss this year. Last season, he ranked fourth on the team with 43 tackles, earning Defensive Newcomer of the Year honors.
