The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a one-year contract with veteran running back Raheem Mostert, a source confirmed to ESPN.

The Miami Dolphins released Mostert on Feb. 14, ending his three-season run with the franchise.

Mostert, 32, signed with Miami in 2022 and made the Pro Bowl after rushing for a career-high 1,012 yards and 18 touchdowns in 2023. The undrafted running back led the NFL with 21 total touchdowns during his Pro Bowl season.

He saw a diminished role in 2024 as De'Von Achane worked as the team's featured back and led all NFL running backs with 78 catches and 592 receiving yards.

He finished his tenure in Miami with 2,181 rushing yards and 28 total touchdowns.

Before joining the Dolphins, he played six seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. He averaged 5.7 yards per carry in San Francisco but was unable to stay on the field consistently enough to fill the role of primary back as the team hoped he would.

He burst on the scene during San Francisco's run to Super Bowl LIV after the 2019 season, highlighted by his 220-yard, four-touchdown performance against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC Championship Game.

He has rushed for 3,791 yards and has scored 42 total touchdowns (34 rushing) in 10 NFL seasons.

Fox Sports first reported the news of Mostert's agreement with the Raiders.

ESPN's Ryan McFadden and Marcel Louis-Jacques contributed to this report.
