The New England Patriots will host the Pittsburgh Steelers with three questionable.
Cornerback Christian Gonzalez headlines the list shared by head coach Mike Vrabel on Friday. After being sidelined by a hamstring injury since the first padded practice of training camp in July, the reigning All-Pro returned for three consecutive sessions as a limited participant. His 2025 debut could be on deck.
Here’s the rest of the early game statuses heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Gillette Stadium.
The week in Foxborough ended with back-to-back days of perfect attendance for an active roster of 52.
- FB Jack Westover (hamstring)
- DE Keion White (illness)
- CB Christian Gonzalez (hamstring)
In addition to No. 0 being questionable, the same projection goes for Westover and White. The converted fullback has resided on New England’s injury report due to a hamstring issue of his own since Wednesday. As for the defensive end, who saw a combined 38 snaps in the September opener, he returned to practice as a full participant on Thursday after missing four practices and one game with an illness.
“No other injury designations,” Vrabel said.
