Boston College Unveils New Hockey Jerseys Ahead of 2025-26 Season

On Friday afternoon, the Boston College hockey program announced its new jerseys for the men’s and women’s teams ahead of the 2025-26 season. You can check out the announcement video below.

The new jerseys, pictured below, mark an understated but significant change. The home whites are keeping the familiar “EAGLES” text going diagonally across the front, but now include a gold trim. The new home whites also get rid of the BC logo in the top corner, and the colored stripes at the waist are much more subtle.

For the maroon away jerseys, BC is getting rid of the “EAGLES” diagonal text altogether and replacing it with the more traditional “BOSTON COLLEGE” across the chest. This text is still written in gold font, though now with a white trim around the text. BC has yet to release any images that let us take a look at the sleeves in detail.

This is the first real unique stamp that New Balance has put on the hockey program primary jerseys after they took over as BC’s apparel provider in 2021. The older primary men’s jerseys (below) were carried over from the previous Under Armour regime without much change.

Do you like this change? Personally I see both of these new jerseys as an improvement over their old counterparts. The gold trim on the home whites gives it a prettier look that incorporates both of BC’s colors, while the away jerseys now have their own distinct look that returns us to putting the school name on the front.
