Guernsey FC have lost just once in all competitions this season
Guernsey FC made it through to the second qualifying round of the FA Vase after a 2-0 win over Croydon at Victoria Park.
In a goalless opening period, Ross Allen had a headed goal in stoppage time ruled out for offside on Brandon Wallace who had put in the cross, with Sam Murray having gone close a few minutes earlier.
Charlton Gauvain gave the islanders a 54th-minute lead from close range and Croydon had captain Kieran Rufus sent off for his reaction in the aftermath.
Fin Du Port made the game safe with seven minutes left as his cross ended up curling in off the far post.
The tie was Guernsey FC's first in the FA Vase since they reached the semi-finals in 2013 - their relegation last season meant the Southern Combination side were eligible for the competition once again.
