Plymouth Argyle are on a three-game winning streak for the first time since February
Plymouth Argyle assistant manager Damon Lathrope hopes his side have put their lack of wins away from home behind them after an impressive 3-2 victory at Luton Town.
The Pilgrims played much of the second half with 10 men after Joe Edwards' red card and also had manager Tom Cleverley sent to the stands halfway through the second period.
But two Bradley Ibrahim goals helped the Pilgrims prevail at the former Premier League side.
The win was Argyle's first away victory in the league this season and only their sixth on the road since winning League One in 2023.
Lathrope hopes the win can give his side confidence when they next go away from home. They won just twice in the league on the road last season and three times in the previous campaign, all of those victories coming after February
"I think it's got the monkey off our back," Lathrope told BBC Radio Devon.
"It's certainly a relief and the next away game that we go into, knowing that you've done it before, knowing that you're capable of it, knowing that you can dig that deep, it's always easier to repeat that.
"Doing anything the first time always seems the hardest and once you've done it, we need to remember how it felt, really take a lot from it to make sure that it's not the last away win but it's one of many that we're going to get this season."

The victory was a third in succession in all competitions for Argyle - who have lost just one of their last six matches.
It came after a troubled start to the season when the Pilgrims lost their first four League One matches.
"If you look at the last four games, we're on a reasonable run now and we've been tested," added Lathrope, who was on media duties as Cleverley's red card meant he was barred from speaking to the press post-match.
"We've been through a lot of adversity at the start of the season and I feel like we've turned the corner.
"You can see it in training. The boys were excellent this week and with a young group, it's our job - the head coach's job - to support them through those moments.
"We've learned a lot and we'll be better for it."
