This weekend against Lorient at the Vélodrome, OM boosted their confidence before their first Champions League match of the season on Real Madrid's turf. The Phocaeans cruised to a 4-0 victory. But before facing Kylian Mbappé's Real Madrid, the Phocaeans have been hit with some bad news. Moroccan international Nayef Aguerd, who scored against Les Merlus, must follow concussion protocol after suffering an accidental clash with a Lorient player.

Although he stayed on the pitch for the entire match against Lorient, this protocol will prevent him from being available at the Santiago Bernabéu. At least, that's what RMC Sport is reporting.
