AJ Lee wins first match back in WWE at Wrestlepalooza

AJ Lee is back and doing some pro wrestling, folks.

How good is that?

She made her big return to television to help her husband, CM Punk, in his ongoing war with Seth Rollins, which came to include his wife, Becky Lynch. When the Intercontinental champion went way too hard after Punk physically, he recruited someone to do something about it.

They got the chance to do so at tonight’s (Sat., Sept. 20, 2025) Wrestlepalooza premium live event at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana, and it was one hell of a wild match that featured a ton of false finishes and big spots that had the entire audience rocking.

AJ and Punk hit Stomps, a double Black Widow and Sharpshooter, tons of fun brawling on both sides. It was madness!

In the end, Lee found herself in the ring with Lynch in the Black Widow and the tap came in to a thunderous ovation. This marked a successful return to action for Lee, her first in over 10 years, and gives Punk a dub in the ongoing battle with Rollins.

But something tells me this ain’t over yet.
