Barcelona stars Robert Lewandowski and Wojciech Szczesny made the most of their final hours in the city before heading off on their summer break. 

The pair, who helped the club secure a domestic treble this season, shared a light-hearted moment at the last training session, one that left teammates and staff laughing.

The funny moment between the Polish internationals looked more like a scene from an action film than football training. Szczesny pretended to land a dramatic punch on Lewandowski, who acted out a perfect fall to the ground. 

Not one to be outdone, the striker then “hit back”, sending Szczesny tumbling in return. The goalkeeper responded with one last playful kick before both burst into laughter.

Of course, it was all just in good fun. No punches were actually thrown, just two close friends enjoying a joke as the season wrapped up. 

Final match before the summer break

Both players are expected to feature in Barcelona’s final game of the season. For Lewandowski, the stakes remain high. 

He is still in the race for the Pichichi Trophy and sits just short of his 100th goal in a Barcelona shirt. A strong showing in the final match could help him leap ahead of Kylian Mbappe in the goal charts.

For Szczesny, however, the situation is less clear. The Polish goalkeeper has not yet confirmed if he will continue at the club beyond this season. 

With talks still pending, there’s a chance Sunday’s match could mark his last appearance in Barça colours.

Regardless of what the future holds, both players have played their part in a memorable season. 

Their cheerful mood on the training ground is a clear reflection of the positive spirit Flick has brought to the team, a group that works hard but does not forget to enjoy the ride.
