Iraqi club Al Gharraf SC claimed dramatic 1 - 0 victory against Mosul on Monday evening in the opening round of the Iraqi Premier League.

Nigerian forward Austin Amutu scored the decisive goal early in the 2nd half.

The 32 year old striker found the net in the 48 minute at Al Gharraf SC Stadium sealing his side’s first win of the new season.

Amutu joined Al Gharraf SC this summer after leaving Al Talaba SC bringing experience from spells in Tunisia, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
