Steve Sarkisian: “I thought the intensity, the speed, and the physicality definitely increased from the first scrimmage to the second scrimmage.”
Best tacklers? Sark mentioned Jelani McDonald, Anthony Hill, Derek Williams, and Ty’Anthony Smith. On Smith: “He’s playing really good. I’m really proud of Ty’Anthony.”
Sarkisian mentions that Arch Manning and the rest of the offense have done well in operations pre-snap, improving from scrimmage to scrimmage. He mentions they will incorporate more and more crowd noise over the next set of practices.
“Medicine and science have come a long way for this guy to be moving with the explosiveness he is a year removed from that injury is very impressive,” Sark on Clark. Mentioned Clark basically has to operate as a freshman now back from an Achilles Tear.
Sarkisian on Michael Taaffe: “He’s looking for every angle at this point. He’s looking at every stone he can look over for every niche, every advantage. At the same time, he’s taken a lot of guys under his wing.”
Sark says that Xavier Filsaime and Jordon Johnson-Rubell deserve to be in that group.

Sarkisian on DT: “A lot of guys are doing a great job.” — “We’ve got a plethora of guys in there that are earning playing time.”
