The UCF men’s basketball team is set to host LSU in an exhibition game at Addition Financial Arena on Sunday, Oct. 26.
This matchup marks the second meeting between the two programs, but it will be the first time the Tigers face off against the Knights’ fans. Their previous encounter took place during last season’s inaugural Greenbrier Tip-Off in West Virginia, where LSU emerged victorious in a thrilling triple-overtime battle, winning 109-102.
LSU posted a 14-18 overall record last season, finishing 15th in the SEC standings.
This would be the third SEC team the Knights will face in 2025-26, with a home game against Vanderbilt on Nov. 8 and a road contest at Texas A&M on Nov. 14.
Following the game, a meet-and-greet opportunity with players will be available, with details to be announced.
Before the LSU contest, UCF travels to Cameron Indoor Stadium for a rare exhibition game against Duke on Oct. 21. It’s a homecoming of sorts for coach Johnny Dawkins, who was an All-American with the Blue Devils before eventually joining the coaching staff as an assistant under then-coach Mike Krzyzewski.
UCF opens the season by hosting Hofstra on Nov. 3.
The Knights have overhauled their roster, bringing in 13 newcomers, including 11 players acquired through the transfer portal. The only returning players are reserves Poohpha Warakulnukroh and Elijah Hulsewe.
