😳 Title favourite faces early Club World Cup exit

Inter Milan faces the threat of an early exit at the Club World Cup in the USA. The Italians are having significant problems at the start of their Round of 16 match against Fluminense Rio de Janeiro. Flu took advantage of Inter's sluggishness and went ahead 1-0 through German Cano in the fourth minute.

So far, non-European teams like Bayern (against Flamengo) and PSG (against Miami) have confidently advanced and secured their quarter-final tickets. Now, the first heavyweight from Europe is facing elimination. Before the Club World Cup, Inter was considered a favorite for the title as a CL finalist. A defeat against Fluminense would be a major surprise and certainly a disappointment.
