Titans vs. Texans opening odds: Tennessee opens as a 7.5-point underdog

I’m not going to even bother to ask if you would put your hard-earned money on the Tennessee Titans this week as a 7.5-point at the Houston Texans. That’s the number over at FanDuel Sportsbook. Instead, I will ask you what the number would have to be for you to bet on the Titans.

For me, it would have to be at least +14.5. Eventhough the Texans are also 0-3, they have a much better roster and are better coached. Of course, that is true about just about every team the Titans will play in the 2025 season.

It would really help if the Titans could get JC Latham back this week against a very good defensive front for Houston. Brian Callahan was pretty noncommittal when asked if Latham would be ready on Monday. Prayers up for Cam Ward if the Ojukwu/Odu combo is out there at right tackle again this week.

Amy Adams-Strunk really hates losing to the Texans, especially in Houston, so if the Titans do end up getting run out of NRG Stadium on Sunday, we will officially be on #FireCally watch.
