🚧 Time to spruce up Montjuïc, the changes needed to host Barça

FC Barcelona has confirmed today what was an open secret: the team will return to play at the Montjuïc stadium for the crucial Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain.

However, the club faces a race against time to complete a series of essential tasks to ensure that the stadium is in optimal condition to host the anticipated match.

Following the recent Post Malone concert, the turf at the Montjuïc Olympic Stadium was damaged and must be completely replaced. This is one of the most urgent tasks, as the playing surface is a key factor for the development of the match.

In addition to the turf, Barça has to replace much of the stadium's furniture. They need to install 7,000 seats in the stands and replace the entry turnstiles to facilitate fan access. It is also necessary to set up the benches and goals, basic elements for any professional football match.
