‘They’re barely hanging on.’ Will Campbell has a wild underwear superstition

It turns out the New England Patriots’ top draft pick this year is a pretty superstitious guy – even with his underwear.

In a Q&A video with the Patriots social media team, Will Campbell revealed some wild routines he follows heading into game day.

Campbell said that he eats the same thing – from dinner, breakfast, lunch and pregame meal – heading into a game.

It’s not just food, Campbell has an underwear routine as well.

“I wear the same underwear under my pants since my sophomore year of high school,” Campbell said. “They’re barely hanging on, but I’ll be able to make them work.

“I’m very superstitious in my pregame routine, so I have a way that I go about it every time,” he added. “Yeah, I’m very superstitious on gameday.”

The No. 4 overall pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, Campbell comes to New England with high expectations. The LSU product will be under pressure to take over the starting left tackle position and help keep Drake Maye protected.
