Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce made their first appearance as an engaged couple at Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday night.
The pop star and Kansas City Chiefs tight end were in a suite watching Cincinnati play Nebraska. Kelce went to school at Cincinnati before he was drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft by the Chiefs. They were in a suite with Patrick Mahomes, Jason Kelce and others to watch the game.
Kelce and Swift announced their engagement on Tuesday via social media. Kelce’s father Ed told Scripps News Cleveland that the proposal happened two weeks before it was officially announced. Ed Kelce said that Travis proposed before they were set to go to dinner and then they FaceTimed their families after the proposal happened.

Kelce spent four seasons and played three at Cincinnati from 2009 through 2012. He played in 11 games and had one catch as a freshman before he was suspended for the 2010 season for failing a drug test. In 2012, he had 45 catches for 722 yards and eight touchdowns.
Thursday night’s game is the first college football game that Swift has attended since she started dating Kelce. She’s been a fixture at Arrowhead Stadium for Chiefs games and figures to be in attendance when the Chiefs host the Eagles in a Super Bowl LIX rematch in Week 2.
