Chelsea’s striker hunt continues
It’s been well known for many months now that Chelsea are targeting a new striker signing as a priority this coming summer transfer window.

Many names have been mentioned in Chelsea’s search, but one name that kept coming up and at one point seemed like it was destined to happen was Liam Delap of Ipswich Town. All of a sudden though it then seemed like he is likely going to Manchester United.
Chelsea still in for Delap
The Athletic are reporting that Chelsea are still keen on Delap and set to hold talks soon.
They report that Manchester United executives have held face-to-face talks with Liam Delap, who was given permission by Ipswich Town to travel to Manchester. United have competition from several clubs, including Chelsea, and Delap is expected to enter meaningful discussions with all suitors before taking time to decide his move.
