Steelers 2024 Day 2 pick expected to make superstar leap in 2025

The Pittsburgh Steelers found a potential long-term starter in Round 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft by selecting Zach Frazier.

Frazier started 15 games at center for the Steelers in his rookie season last year and established himself as a core part of the unit.

Though Frazier isn't a household name yet despite a promising rookie campaign, Bleacher Report's Brad Gagnon predicts the 23-year-old offensive lineman will take a superstar leap in 2025.

"Centers might rarely be seen as superstars, but Frazier might have the right ingredients and be in the right place at the right time for it," Gagnon wrote.

Frazier played nearly 1,000 snaps for Pittsburgh in 2024, allowing just one sack and 12 quarterback pressures in 548 pass-blocking snaps. He was also a stout run blocker, posting a 79.7 run-blocking grade, which ranked within the top ten among all centers.

If Frazier continues his elite play in 2025, the former No.51 overall pick in the 2024 draft could receive Pro Bowl consideration and garner more respect around the league. The young center will also strengthen his case to be a pivotal long-term piece for general manager Omar Khan and head coach Mike Tomlin.

Not many offensive linemen earn the superstar label. However, Frazier is well on his way to obtaining that title.
