Sidney Crosby's Arrival at Hockey Canada Camp is Turning Heads

Sidney Crosby’s 20th NHL season ended the Pittsburgh Penguins failing to clinch a playoff berth for the third year in a row.

This spring, however, the Penguins captain has opted to keep competing albeit on international ice instead of fighting for another Stanley Cup Playoffs triumph.

On Sunday night, Hockey Canada confirmed that Crosby will represent the national team at the 2025 IIHF World Championship, which begins May 10 in Stockholm.

“The captain is headed to #MensWorlds!" the Penguins posted on X. "This will mark Crosby’s third time representing Team Canada at the World Championship and first since he captained the team to the gold medal in 2015.”

Just a few hours after the announcement, Crosby was already spotted arriving at Hockey Canada's camp ahead of the tournament.

"Captain Canada has arrived. 🇨🇦" the Hockey Canada account on X posted along with the video of Crosby's arrival.

Crosby most recently led Canada to gold at the 4 Nations Face-Off in February.

Fans lost no time reacting to the post made by Hockey Canada, dropping all sorts of reactions to the video posted on Monday, with tone ranging from the most serious to straight hilarious.
