Ousmane Ndong has officially joined Akhmat Grozny on Tuesday, July 22, 2025. The Senegalese defender has signed a three-year deal with the Russian club after leaving Gol Gohar Sirjan, a top-flight team in Iran.
Ndong will now compete in the Russian Premier League. The Senegalese centre-back was unveiled on Tuesday as Akhmat Grozny’s newest signing. He arrives from Gol Gohar Sirjan, the Iranian club he represented last season. "Ousmane Ndong has signed a three-year contract with Akhmat Grozny, running until 2028," the Russian club announced.
Before making the move to Russia, Ndong gained experience abroad with stints at Lanus in Argentina, Albion FC in Uruguay, Gualaceo in Ecuador, and Estheghlal. At 24, he is now set to take on a new challenge in Europe.
