📹 São Paulo’s reserves fall to bottom side Sport, who win again

At Ilha do Retiro, São Paulo drew 2-2 with Sport this Saturday (16th), in the 20th round of the 2025 Brasileirão.

Coach Hernan Crespo sent out a reserve team, keeping only Alan Franco and Sabino from the usual starters.

The strategy was planned with the return leg of the Libertadores round of 16 in mind, against Atlético Nacional, at MorumBIS, next Tuesday (19th), after the 0-0 draw in Colombia.

Leão, who had nothing to do with it, took full advantage of the opportunity.

With this result, São Paulo reached 29 points and climbed to sixth place. Sport, meanwhile, remains at the bottom with 10 points.

After their Libertadores commitment on Tuesday (19th), Tricolor Paulista returns to the field on Sunday (24th), when they host Atlético-MG at MorumBIS, for the 21st round of the Brasileirão.

On Monday (25th), Leão visits Palmeiras at Allianz Parque.
