Report Tottenham want to raise offer for Nico Paz

Sky Sport Italia reports that Tottenham are determined to send an improved offer for Como talent Nico Paz after an initial €40m bid was rejected at the beginning of August.

Tottenham have identified Nico Paz as the ideal replacement for the injured James Maddison, and according to Sky Sport Italia transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, the Premier League side are eager to send an improved offer to Como.

According to the report, Spurs had already sent a €40m bid at the beginning of August, but Cesc Fabregas’ side rejected it.

Now, Tottenham seem determined to send an improved proposal to sign the Argentine talent who impressed in his debut Serie A season in 2024-25.

Nico Paz is formally a Como player, but Real Madrid have an option to re-sign him, valid until 2027.

This means the Merengues can also match any offer Como receive for the 20-year-old.

The La Liga giants can also re-sign Nico Paz for €9m next summer or for €10m in 2027.
