Report: Tennessee schedules official visit with four-star small forward

Tennessee Basketball has scheduled an official visit with 2026 four-star small forward Ralph Scott, according to a report from Dushawn London. The 6-foot-8 Scott is the No. 48 overall prospect in the Rivals rankings for the 2026 class and is the No. 14 small forward in the country.

Scott has also scheduled official visits with Houston, Texas A&M, LSU and Stanford.

The list of official visits either scheduled or reported for Tennessee this fall continues to grow, including four-star point guard Miles Sadler (August 29-31), four-star small forward Jacob Webber (Sept. 11-14), four-star small forward Manny Green (October 11-13), four-star small forward Cody Peck (October 24), five-star point guard Deron Rippey Jr. (October 25-26) and four-star small forward Bryson Howard (October 24-26).

Four-star small forward Bo Ogden is also planning a visit to Tennessee.

Vols looking for first commitment in 2026 class

Tennessee will begin fall workouts later this month, then preseason work begins in September. The Vols play Duke in a sold-out exhibition game at Food City Center on October 26, set for a 7 p.m. Eastern Time start, then open the regular-season schedule November 3 against Mercer.

Tennessee does not currently have a commitment in the 2026 class, but the Vols are building a crowded list of visitors for this fall and are among the final programs in the recruitment of multiple prospects. 

Rippey, out of Brooklyn, N.Y., is the No. 17 overall recruit in the country, Howard is ranked No. 26 and Sadler is No. 28. Ogden is ranked No. 45 overall and Mayfield is ranked No. 72.

Sadler is the No. 20 overall prospect in the Rivals rankings and is the No. 3 point guard in the class. Green, a 6-foot-6, 185-prospect out of Ellenwood, Ga., is the No. 95 overall player in the Rivals Ranking for the 2026 class. 

Where Tennessee stands with 2026 prospects

Tennessee is in the top five for Mayfield along with Vanderbilt, Florida State, Michigan and Oklahoma. The Vols are in the top six for Ogden (Tennessee, Texas, Purdue, Gonzaga, Kansas, Virginia), the top seven for four-star small forward Chris Washington Jr. (Alabama, Cincinnati, Auburn, Ole Miss, Villanova, Florida A&M and the top nine for four-star power forward Latrell Allmond (Tennessee, Arizona, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Miami, Michigan State, Oklahoma State, Virginia). 

Allmond, a 6-foot-8, 225-pound prospect out of Richmond, Va.), is ranked No. 31 nationally and is the No. 4 power forward in the 2026 class. 

Washington, a 6-foot-8, 185-pound small forward, is ranked No. 24 nationally and No. 8 at small forward. 

Tennessee’s 2025 signing class was ranked No. 14 nationally and No. 4 in the SEC with a class score of 92.29. The Vols signed five-star small forward Nate Ament (No. 2 overall), four-star guard Amari Evans (No. 68), four-star center Dewayne Brown (No. 96), three-star point guard Troy Henderson (No. 261) and three-star guard Clarence Massamba (No. 262).
