Las Blancas have won only 1 point in the first two matches of the league campaign—losing against Atlético Madrid and drawing against DUX Logroño. In the midweek game, Real Madrid have got their first win of the season, beating Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifiers. On the other side, Madrid CFF have won their game against Eibar and drew against Real Sociedad and are now sitting in the 7th place on the table with 4 points.
As for the squad availability, aside from the long-term absence of Teresa Abelleira, there are some injuries and suspensions. Signe Bruun is facing a suspension after receiving a second yellow in the previous matchday. Irune Dorado is also suspended for receiving a red card in a Segunda División match against Deportivo Alavés with the B team.
