Danville pole vaulter Samantha Brown competes in a meet earlier this month. Brown qualified for the IHSA Class 3A State finals in the pole vault and is part of the Danville 400 meter relay team, who will also be in the finals today.
CHARLESTON —Even with the tough competition of the IHSA Class 3A State track meet, the Danville girls track team was still able to advance four athletes to today’s finals.
Samantha Brown was able to qualify for the pole vault final with a an attempt of 3.45 meters.
