It was Mohamed Salah versus everyone else in another fireworks-laden campaign for the Premier League’s Golden Boot award, and for the fourth time it was Liverpool’s Egyptian King who led the division in goals.
Manchester City megastar Erling Haaland was the fastest to 10 goals in a single Premier League season in adding another record to his resume, but an injury helped slow the Norwegian and Salah pulled away in a season he also led the division in assists.
Now Salah has tied Thierry Henry for the most Golden Boots in the Premier League era.

The Norwegian had won the previous two honors as the top goal scorer in a Premier League season. Trying to chase down Salah and Haaland were Chris Wood, Alexander Isak, and a raft of others who used purple patches and excellent seasons to climb the goals table.
And how about Brentford, who had three double-digit goal scorers in Bryan Mbeumo (20), Yoane Wissa (19), and Kevin Schade (11)?
Below you’ll find all who’ve run the race for the 2024-25 Premier League Golden Boot, as well as a little recent history and some odds on who’s believed to be among the contestants for this season’s individual honor.
Who won last season’s Premier League Golden Boot?
Erling Haaland shrugged off a month on the shelf with an injury and a host of challenges to win his second-straight Golden Boot. Haaland scored 27 goals last season, nine fewer than his record-devouring 2022-23 campaign. He would’ve been the fastest player to 100 career PL goals if he broke his record this season, but a season-shortening injury got in the way.
How many Golden Boots has Mo Salah won?
Mohamed Salah has now won four Premier League Golden Boots so far (in 2017-18, 2018-19, 2021-22, and this season). He has equaled Thierry Henry for the most in Premier League history.

How many Golden Boots has Erling Haaland won?
