The Los Angeles Charger have an injury concern with running back Najee Harris in the first half of the Week 3 game against the Denver Broncos.
Harris suffered the injury in the second quarter. In what is always a terrible sign, Harris clearly suffered a non-contact injury, so we're fearing the worst, unfortunately.
Prior to his injury, Harris had six carries for 28 yards and actually had more touches than rookie Omarion Hampton.
Here are the latest injury updates on Harris during the Week 3 game against the Broncos.
Najee Harris injury update
Daniel Popper of The Athletic notes that it was a non-contract injury for Harris, which typically means it's serious.
Najee Harris is down. Looked like non-contact. Trainers out.

Here's the video of Harris getting injured. We don't want to assume, but it sure looks like an Achilles tear.

It is quite shocking to see Harris suffer an injury like that. The former Pittsburgh Steelers running back has been as durable as they come during his career.
We certainly wish him the best in his recovery.
