🚨Landmark ruling: Independiente and U. de Chile disqualified and sanctioned

After more than 12 hours since the incidents at Independiente's stadium, the CONMEBOL disciplinary committee has published its ruling.

Both Universidad de Chile and Independiente are disqualified from the Sudamericana and will not be able to participate in CONMEBOL competitions until 2028.

At the same time, the Estadio Libertadores de América will be suspended indefinitely from hosting competitions organized by the highest authority of South American football.
