Lakers' LeBron James makes admission on Bulls legend Michael Jordan

Michael Jordan is arguably the greatest player to ever lace them up, and if there's a close second or someone who might be better, it's only Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James.

The Chicago Bulls have faced some tough times since Jordan's departure, but they remain a proud organization, largely due to the legacy he established.

But for him and James, there isn't much of a connection between the two. When they see each other, they're often seen talking, but it isn't like they're out playing golf and doing things together.

Despite that, when recently speaking about the player he would want to play with, James noted that he wants to play with the former Bulls star, despite fans likely giving him some backlash due to the other stars he's played with in his career.

“When you talk about inspiration, there was nobody more inspiring to me than Michael Jordan. For me, I think our games would have complemented each other well. MJ was a flat-out scorer. He had a scorers mentality if I had to pick him. But I know I can’t pick him because I know how social media works.

“You’re gonna be like, 'Oh, you want to play with Michael Jordan, too? You get to play with everybody else. God damn it.' I didn’t ask the question. I’m only answering it, guys. I didn’t ask the question. But MJ was inspiration. Penny Hardaway was inspiration to me. Grant Hill was inspiration to me growing up... I was going to say Kobe Bryant, but I actually played with Kobe in the Olympics, so rest his soul. Great Kobe. Great Kobe,” he said on “Mind the Game.”

Whenever there's a thought of the two greatest players ever playing together, it's crazy to wonder just how exciting that could've potentially been.
