Kelsey Plum’s Outfit for LA Sparks Home Opener is Turning Heads

Kelsey Plum didn’t wait for tip-off to make a statement at the Los Angeles Sparks’ home opener.

Before the first basket was even scored at Crypto.com Arena, all eyes were on the Sparks' newest star—and her standout outfit.

Plum arrived wearing a light beige oversized suit with wide-leg pants and a matching blazer. Underneath, she rocked a white dress shirt with thin vertical stripes, paired with a sleek dark tie.

She completed the look with red pointed-toe heels, a brown belt and a small black handbag featuring a gold logo. The WNBA’s official X account shared a photo of Plum’s look.

Fans were quick to flood the comments with reactions.

“She’s one of the most stylish players… ballin too!!!” one user wrote.

“Plumbob Square Pants,” a playful comment read.

Some reactions focused on Plum’s outfit choice.

For her regular-season debut, Plum stepped out in black shorts, knee-high boots and a long white cloth draped from her waist—a look that had fans and cameras following her every step.

But fashion isn’t all Plum brought to LA. After an offseason trade sent her from the two-time champion Las Vegas Aces to the Sparks, Plum wasted no time proving her value.

She scored the Sparks’ first official basket in her debut and followed that up with a 37-point performance in a dominant 84-67 win over the Valkyries.

As the Sparks hosted the Minnesota Lynx—last season’s WNBA runners-up—in their home opener, the energy inside the arena matched the buzz outside of it. Kelsey Plum has already delivered one clear message: whether on the court or in the tunnel, she’s here to make an impact.
