Aaron DeFrance scored 24 points on an efficient 10-of-12 shooting, including two 3-pointers and Three Forks boys escaped with a 60-58 win over Manhattan in the Class B basketball state tournament Friday morning.
Manhattan went into the break up 35-25 behind a big second quarter where they outscored the Wolves 22-13. Three Forks flipped the game in the second half, outscoring the Tigers 35-23, including a huge 19-8 difference in the fourth quarter to complete the comeback.
Hunter Feddes and Drydan Frisinger added nine points each for Three Forks as no other player scored in double-figures. Sam Stewart matched DeFrance on 10-of-12 shooting, scoring 23 points for the Tigers on two made 3-pointers. Chance Fenno added 14 for Manhattan.

Myles Yoakam and Wyatt Babb scored 15 each for Glasgow, with Yoakam making three shots from distance. Thompson Falls couldn’t get anything to fall from beyond the arc, going 5-of-29, compared to Glasgow shooting 5-of-12.

The Tigers were held without a field goal in the second quarter with their only points coming from the free throw line. Neva Jacobson led all scorers with 13 points and Kendall Clausen added 12, including two 3-pointers for the Mustangs.
Cameron Toney was the only player in double-figures for the Tigers, scoring 11 points. Brianna and Parker Layng scored six each as Boulder struggled from three, shooting 4-of-24.
