Harry Kane wins first major trophy as Bayern clinch Bundesliga

Harry Kane has won the first major trophy of his career after Bayern Munich sealed Bundesliga title success.

Bayern earned the point needed to be crowned Bundesliga champions after a thrilling 3-3 draw with RB Leipzig. Following Bayer Leverkusen’s draw with SC Freiburg earlier in the day, Bayern needed just a point to reclaim the trophy.

He’s done it.

Bayern’s title party looked in danger of being delayed as Leipzig took a two-nil lead through Benjamin Sesko and Lukas Klostermann.

However, the visitors fought back impressively after the break. Two goals in a minute from Eric Dier and Michael Olise brought Bayern level, before Leroy Sane fired the Bavarians ahead seven minutes from time.

Yussuf Poulsen netted a 94th-minute equaliser to earn Leipzig a draw, though it failed to dampen Bayern’s mood.

Bayern claim the Bundesliga title for a 12th time in 13 seasons and record-extending 34th German crown. For Kane, it’s a first major trophy after runners-up finishes in the English League Cup, Champions League and European Championship (twice) with England.
