More than 70 deaths have been registered within the past 24 hours as a result of Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, the territory's Health Ministry controlled by the militant Palestinian Hamas organization said on Friday.
It reported an overall 72 dead and 174 injured in that period. The ministry does not differentiate between fighters and civilians. The information cannot currently be verified.
Since the beginning of the Gaza war, more than 56,300 people have been killed in Gaza, according to Palestinian sources. More than 132,600 have reportedly been injured.
