Forward Evans Barning reclassifies and commits to West Virginia

West Virginia has filled the last roster spot for the hoops program after adding a commitment from forward Evans Barning.

The 6-foot-7 forward will be reclassifying from the 2026 class and enroll at West Virginia for the fall.

Barning played for Team Durant this summer and averaged 8.8 points and 4.3 rebounds throughout Peach Jam as an athletic option.

The Mountaineers have now filled the 15 spots on the 2025 basketball roster.
