College football officially entered the regular season with Week 0 games taking place on Saturday and No. 21 Ole Miss is only nine days out from kicking things off against Georgia State.
With that, one of the final pieces of the preseason puzzle fell into place as ESPN released its match up predictor percentages for all 12 of the Rebels games.
Keeping with the trend of computers really like Ole Miss in 2025 the predictions have the it favored to go 11-1 in the regular season. The Rebels trending towards its first 11-win regular season in program history, and a near certain top seed in the College Football Playoffs, if the percentages hold true
The only game the Rebels are not favored in is their trip to Athens on October 18 with No. 5 Georgia given a 74 percent chance to come away with its second win over Ole Miss in the the last three years.
Among the 11 games Ole Miss is favored in the lowest chances are at No. 18 Oklahoma (56.8 percent), vs. No. 13 South Carolina (57.4 percent), vs. No. 9 LSU (57.7 percent) and vs. No. 15 Florida (58.8).
The games the Rebels are favored in the most are vs. The Citadel (99 percent), vs. Washington State (96.2 percent) and the opener against the Panthers (94.4 percent) next Saturday.
Should be noted that once games begin to be played the percentages will fluctuate accordingly with each week’s results.
Experts in Las Vegas currently disagree with the computers when it comes to the LSU game. After being a 1.5-point favorite most of the Summer Ole Miss became a 1.5-point home underdog in that game, according to BetMGM this week. The Bulldogs are still 10.5-point favorites over the Rebels.
