The Cincinnati Bengals threw the ball fifty-one times during their victory this week against the Jaguars.

Dylan Fairchild did not allow a single pressure during any of those plays. The previous week, he allowed four pressures against the Cleveland Browns. His 84.9 pass-blocking grade from Pro Football Focus was the fourth-highest of any NFL guard in Week 2.

For a rookie, playing in just his second NFL game, it was a very impressive performance when re-watching the All-22 film.

Fairchild, and the rest of the Bengals interior offensive lineman, will be tasked with facing a stout Minnesota Vikings defense this upcoming Sunday.

The Vikings appear to have found a hidden gem with Jalen Redmond. Redmond had been cut by multiple teams prior to landing on the Minnesota practice squad in 2024. Once signed to the active roster, Redmond became an integral part of the defensive line.

Minnesota also added quality veteran additions this season in Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave.

Dylan Fairchild will need to have another good performance for the Bengals to have a chance to improve to 3-0 on the season.

What are your impressions of Dylan Fairchild so far this season?
