DeWalt’s best-selling drill is just $99 — plus 11 more tool deals you can’t miss

We're almost to spring, it's time to make sure your home is in tip-top shape. Whether it's tightening loose cabinet screws or installing a new gadget, you can breeze through those small home improvement projects with a reliable cordless drill. Right now, you’ll find some great deals on DeWalt tools — one of the most trusted names in the game. Need a drill? Got it. A router? Check. But the standout deal? Less than $100 for the popular DeWalt Max Cordless Drill and Driver Kit — your soon-to-be favorite sidekick for all your DIY plans.

This powerful drill and driver kit is a shopper favorite on Amazon — and it's less than $100. The screwdriver/drill tool might look compact, but it can drive up to 1,500 RPMs of power. The half-inch sleeve means you don't have to worry about it loosening its grip on a screw, either. Its embedded LED bulb helps illuminate low-light areas and, thanks to the included battery, it charges quickly.

"Lightweight yet powerful," said one convert. "It's very handy and easy to use. The balance and grip make it a comfortable tool. ... I really like how easy it is to change the bits and how they lock into place. I have had other drills that slip, but not the DeWalt!"

While the handheld vacuum above is great for tackling just about any dry mess, basements tend to throw a little extra chaos your way. For those inevitable wet messes — think spills, leaks, or mystery puddles — you’ll want a vacuum that can handle both dry and damp disasters without breaking a sweat.

Is this wet/dry vac's 2-gallon capacity too small for your needs? Take a look at this 10-gallon option from DeWalt that's also on sale.

Working in the dark or low-light areas can be a huge pain. To avoid this, the folks at Dewalt made a super bright work light/flashlight with a rotating head. Depending on the battery charge, it has a 25-hour runtime.

"This tool really helps me out when working on prepping drywall to be painted," one five-star reviewer wrote. "You can really see clearly with the light and it's really powerful."

Ever been working on a project when all of your batteries have lasted the entire time? Yeah, me either. Half the time I'm working on something at home, on my car or in my camper I am looking up directions on YouTube which drains my battery quicker than pretty much any other app. If I'm not watching a video, I'm listening to music, so either way a rugged charging brick like this comes in handy.

If I had to buy one saw for home improvement projects, a circular saw like this would be it. It can do the work of a table saw and miter saw in one, if you know how to handle it. Plus, with this battery-powered tool there's no cord to worry about cutting.

I wish I was a bit more organized when it comes to home improvement. The truth is I tend to lose drill bits at a rate that would be considered unacceptable at most job sites, which means I've spent my fair share of money on new ones, so I often look for them to go on sale. If you're like me, you're in luck, this 40-piece set is 33% off. If you're not like me and don't lose your tools, then this 40-piece set will last you years, if not decades. Who knows, your kids may be losing, I mean, using this set in the future.

I once had a DeWalt corded reciprocating saw. It bit the dust when I was cutting down a branch in my backyard and sliced the cord along with it. After that, all battery-powered saws for me.

While reciprocating saws are far from an all-jobs-in-one cutting solution (the cuts tend to be a bit rough) I've used mine on branches, to cut down entire trees, metal and plastic piping and to create an access panel in my basement drywall, so it can handle quite a new jobs.
