Alvarez looks to back Crawford up on the ropes but Crawford lands a hard left hand and ducks out the way as Alvarez shows swelling around his right eye. Crawford now even starts to smile and talk to Alvarez as he swings and misses again.

Both fighters throw with bad intentions but just miss the target but Alvarez lands with a good body shot but it doesn't seem to trouble Crawford just yet. Crawford is proving a hard target for Alvarez to nail down. His footwork has been immaculate so far and Alvarez may start to get frustrated.
No signs of that just yet, though.

Crawford lets his hands go early in the round as he counters Alvarez and unloads before nipping in with a straight left. Alvarez looks determined, plants his feet and lands with a straight right but Crawford brushes it off.
Alvarez lands in the final seconds with a right hand and Crawford gives him a smile and a nod.

Crawford seems to be relaxing as he dances around Alvarez while he tries to cut the ring down. Alvarez lands a hook to the body but Crawford is accurate with his southpaw jab. Alvarez goes to the body again Crawford is razor sharp and fires back with a left to the head.
