Chiefs vs. Falcons live updates: Sunday Night Football sees a Patrick Mahomes-Kirk Cousins clash in Atlanta

If Week 3's Sunday Night Football matchup is anything like the Chiefs' or Falcons' Week 2 games, it will be must-see TV. Kansas City got a Harrison Butker field goal as time expired to beat Cincinnati 26-25 after their final drive stayed alive on a 4th-and-16 pass interference penalty. While K.C. got the win, it lost running back Isiah Pacheco for about half the season with a broken leg. Clyde Edwards-Helaire remains on the PUP list, so Samaje Perine and Carson Steele are in line to get the reps in the Chiefs backfield.

The Falcons are coming off a thrilling Monday Night Football win over the Eagles, in which a Jessie Bates III interception in the final minute sealed the deal after Kirk Cousins led the Falcons on a six-play, 70-yard drive in the two-minute drill for the go-ahead touchdown. Atlanta will now host Sunday Night Football for the first time since Week 1 of the 2019 season — coincidentally, a win over the Eagles.
