Cedric Tillman somehow saves Joe Flacco from a bad interception with a lucky TD grab vs. Ravens

Joe Flacco got incredibly lucky on Sunday afternoon.

The Cleveland Browns veteran threw what looked like a sure interception to Marlon Humphrey late in the third quarter of their matchup with the Baltimore Ravens at M&T Bank Stadium. The ball was briefly in Humphrey’s hands, too.

Yet somehow, Humphrey lost control of it and the ball went flying up behind him right into the outstretched arms of Cedric Tillman in the end zone. That led to an absolutely absurd touchdown that kept the Browns in the game.

Hey, whatever works.

That catch was just Tillman’s second of the game. It marked the former Tennessee standout’s second touchdown of the season, too. He had a 5-yard grab in last week’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals.

Despite Tillman’s heroics, though, the Ravens still took an early 10-0 lead after a field goal and a 15-yard touchdown pass to Tylan Wallace after a blocked punt in the second quarter. Lamar Jackson also hit Devontez Walker for a 2-yard touchdown in the third quarter to extend their lead to 17 points before the Browns finally found the end zone.

While it may not lead to the win, Flacco and Tillman still connected on what may very well be the luckiest score of the week, if not the early stretch of the season.
