BWI Live: Final Penn State Camp Recap | Position Battle Update Before Regular Season

It was an incredibly busy day for the Penn State Football program as the team closed camp on Tuesday evening. The program opened up the new Greenberg dining hall, hosted the media for camp, and had a press conference for Athletic Director Pat Kraft and James Franklin all in the same afternoon. Of course, Blue White Illustrated was at each event, and we’ll outline the most important parts of the day on today’s BWI Live Show. We’ll take you between the lines of what James Franklin and Andy Kotelnicki had to say about the team’s offense. Plus, we’ll answer your questions in the BWI Mailbag! Kraft outlines stadium capacity and plans for the West Side Bleachers

Kraft began the press confernece inside the new Greenberg dining facility by discussing the renovations to Beaver Stadium. He outlined the temporary capacity, the safety of the temporary bleachers, and where the program is in terms of budget and timeline.

We’ll also discuss the biggest takeaways from yesterday’s day overall to start the show.

Penn State practice update

Next, we’ll dive into what fans want to know most. What happened at practice? We’ll discuss the highlights of Penn State’s open practice and what we got to see in the team’s final open period before the start of game preparation. The team offered up two live periods, including a receiver and defensive back passing drill in the red zone. We’ll recap our thoughts on the process.
