Bronny James Receives 2-Word Message From Lakers Teammate on Monday

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James is entering his second NBA season. Spending time between the G League and NBA in his first professional campaign, the former USC guard flashed signs of ability.

While James averaged just 2.3 points in 27 appearances for the Lakers, he averaged 18.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.8 assists in 18 G League games for the South Bay Lakers.

Following the Lakers' first round playoff exit, James told reporters he plans to play in the Las Vegas Summer League again this offseason (via ESPN's Dave McMenamin). The former USC guard appeared in Summer League action last offseason after being made the No. 55 overall NBA Draft pick.

As James prepares for year two in the NBA, he was stopped for an interview with Fits From The Streets on Instagram. Showing off his outfit, James detailed his Public Figure hoodie, Balenciaga jeans and Nike Off-White sneakers.

When asked for the best-dressed players in the NBA, James was quick to name his Lakers teammate Jarred Vanderbilt. This got back to the Lakers forward, who sent a two-word response on his Instagram story.

"my dawg!" he exclaimed, tagging James.

Vanderbilt just completed his third season with the Lakers after being acquired by them at the 2023 NBA trade deadline. This was part of the massive three-team trade that sent Russell Westbrook to the Utah Jazz where he was bought-out before signing with the LA Clippers.

For his career, Vanderbilt owns averages of 5.9 points and 6.2 rebounds in 309 NBA games.
