🚨 Breaking news: Borussia Dortmund extend Niko Kovac's contract

Borussia Dortmund and Niko Kovac want to continue building their present together and have just renewed the commitment that unites them.

The coach has extended his contract with the German team until June 30, 2027.

"Niko has dedicated himself body and soul to his work at BVB. He has clear principles, is honest, direct, and rewards performance," explains sporting director Lars Ricken.

"Under his direction, we have returned to the path of success, stabilized our defensive work, scored many more goals than before, and returned to playing attractive football," they add.
