BOSTON — Trevor Story is not in the Red Sox lineup Sunday. David Hamilton will play shortstop.
The Red Sox and Twins will play the rubber game of their three-game series at 1:35 p.m. here at Fenway Park.
Kristian Campbell is back after sitting the past three games with right rib discomfort. He is batting cleanup for the first time in his big league career. He has made two starts in the five hole. All his other starts have come in the sixth and seventh spots.
“Just trying something different,” manager Alex Cora said. “Putting all those at-bats together, I think it’s going to help. I’m not saying this is the route we’re going but probably we will.”
