Anthony Edwards Had Four Words After Timberwolves Eliminate Warriors

The Minnesota Timberwolves weren't expected to do much in this year's NBA playoffs after going 49-33 and finishing sixth in the Western Conference during the regular season.

But they have been surging lately by winning 17 of their last 21 regular-season games, and they have gotten past the first two rounds of the playoffs in just 10 games to reach the Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row.

They finished off the hobbled Golden State Warriors in Game 5 of the second round on Wednesday, and on Thursday, Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards had a post on Instagram that reminded people that he and his team are just getting started.

"Ain done nun c’mon," Edwards wrote.

Edwards has been gradually growing into a superstar over the last couple of years, and he is one of the NBA's most explosive and exciting players. While his production has been up and down so far in the playoffs, he scored 36 points in Game 3 versus the Warriors, with 13 of them coming in the third quarter as Minnesota won 102-97.

He averaged 27.6 points, 5.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists a game and hit 39.5% of his 10.3 3-point attempts a game during the regular season. That production earned him his third straight trip to the All-Star game in just his fifth NBA season.

Minnesota will face the winner of the Oklahoma City Thunder-Denver Nuggets series in the Western Conference Finals. The Thunder led that series three games to two coming into Thursday's Game 6 in Colorado.
