Amazon's secret overstock section is packed with savings — our picks start at $13

Amazon always has something on sale, whether it's early Prime Day deals (yes, they're happening right now!), daily deals, Lightning Deals... the list goes on and on. There are so many savings to be had, in fact, that some of them are even hidden. Yep, the mega-retailer has a secret overstock outlet section full to bursting with extra discounts that require a little more digging to score, but ahh, it's so worth it.

Searching for sneaky steals can be a little overwhelming — and here's where I come in. I dug through all of the Amazon Outlet sales and rounded up the cream of the crop, so you can spend less time researching and more time engaging in retail therapy. Just keep in mind: These are limited-time deals; once they're gone, they're gone.

I was over at my neighbor's house recently when his youngest son knocked a bowl of cereal off the table. I reached for the paper towels to start wiping it up when my friend said, "I got it," and pulled out a cleaner like this one (it's a cool 45% off). Within seconds, he had the wet, sticky mess under control.

This multi-surface Bissell is part vacuum, part mop, and a must for those with kids, pets or anyone who wants an effortless way to clean hardwood, tile or laminate floors.

This "rich mom" pick is giving fall-in-the-Hamptons vibes, and we're obsessed. The flattering vertical stripes and cinched sleeves add some trendy zhush to the look, which is often rocked by stylish celebs like Reese Witherspoon — she's a major fan of striped blouses.

I immediately grabbed these LED flameless flicker lights when I saw they were 50% off, at a mere $13 for 10. I live in an old house with an abundance of windows, so these are sure to add some creepy cool to our autumnal exterior — plus, I can keep them up right through the holidays.

As a former automotive journalist, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto is, in my opinion, one of the most useful non-mechanical upgrades a car can have. What used to mean shelling out hundreds is now about the cost of a week's worth of coffee. What I like most about this gadget — beyond the discount — is that the screen isn't as tall as many others, so it fits better under sloped windshields and won't block your view of the road.

Smart plugs are my second-favorite smart device (can't beat a smart TV), turning every lamp and appliance in my home into something more intelligent and intuitive. I especially love them for my coffeemaker, which doesn't have a built-in clock but makes incredible joe. Now it automatically brews a carafe of piping hot coffee just minutes before I wake up.

If you're working at a desk that doesn't have a ton of room, this lamp and power strip combo will be a lifesaver, and right now it's about 45% off. It'll save you from finding yet another free outlet (one that's probably across the room, at that) to charge your phone or tablet.

Every single time I go to the dentist, I get asked: "How often do you floss?" I sheepishly respond, "Not enough." Instead of dealing with a mess of strings or single-use flossers (not great for the planet), opt for this $15 water option. It's rechargeable (no cords!) and compact enough to stow in a cabinet or drawer when it's not in use.

As a never-going-to-be-in-recovery Yeti addict, I have to admit, when I'm just running to a neighbor's backyard party, I don't bother filling up my large, heavy coolers. Instead, provided everything fits, I throw my drinks and food into an insulated lunchbox and am good to go. Unless you need ice kept for days, a lunchbox like this one is the best, most economical choice by far.
