Amazon quietly slashed stick vacuum prices: Dyson, Shark and Bissell start at $30

The lightest stick vacuum on this list (3.7 pounds!) is also the most affordable, so if you want to save some cash and energy, look no further. More than 20,000 have been sold this month, and while it might not be the most powerful model on the market, it'll make those quick cleanup jobs a lot less taxing.

No, it's not a huge discount, but this vac rarely goes on sale, and this is about as low as it's been all year. 

This powerful 7-pounder tackles pet hair, crumbs and more with ease, according to Home & Garden Writer Kristin Granero, who named it the best cordless stick vacuum after testing a slew of models. "It hit the sweet spot in our testing for a sleek vacuum that offers solid performance, along with some snazzy features, at a competitive price," she says. 

She went on to praise its narrow brush head that "swivels like a dream" and described it as "lightweight" and "incredibly quiet — enough that it probably wouldn't wake a sleeping baby." You'll be able to see dirt hiding in dark spaces, thanks to its headlights, and it even has a dust sensor that'll automatically adjust the power depending on how much extra cleaning oomph is required. As for suction? Granero called it "superb," saying it was a champ at "mowing down faux fur, sand, kitty litter, rice and cereal with ease."

Oh, and as far as price is concerned? This is as low as I've ever seen it.

Save $111 | Lowest price ever

Not all Dyson deals get my attention, but this $125 markdown sure did. It was on sale for less during Prime Day, but it rarely dips lower than its current price outside of big sale events. 

It features a Max cleaning mode to spot-treat areas that need more attention and can run for up to 40 minutes before needing a recharge. Got pets? The included hair-screw tool sucks up fur without getting tangled. 

Granero also tested this vac, saying it's "among Dyson's more compact and budget-conscious Dyson models ... The vacuum maneuvers effortlessly over and around rugs and hardwood floors, and the hair screw tool worked miracles when it came to tight corners and detailing pet-loved couch interiors. ... We suggest it for smaller spaces with hardwood floors or shallow carpets and quicker jobs."

Don't want your new vac to suck a ton of cash from your wallet? This Yahoo-reader-favorite stick's a mere $74, which, let me tell you, is a stellar price for a name-brand model. Its 40 minutes of runtime per charge is sufficient for cleaning small- to medium-sized homes; plus, it has LED lights to help you see in darker spaces, and its cyclonic filtration system traps airborne particles. 

It's only dipped lower than this once, and some shoppers say it's "just as good" as a Dyson. 

I'd typically urge you to avoid sharks during the summer, but I'll make an exception for this popular stick vac that's 60% off. It's certainly much lighter than a Great White — just 7 pounds — and since it's corded, you won't have to worry about running out of juice in the middle of your cleaning sesh. 

This is the best price I've seen it on sale for all year, just sayin'...

I've waxed poetic about the hand vacuum from this brand's V20 line many times, so I have no doubts that this stick model is a beast. Unlike similar vacuums, it comes with a removable battery that you can charge instead of plugging in the whole unit itself, and that battery is compatible with all other V20 tools. Plus, it's self-standing, has built-in lights and boasts an LED screen that lets you know how much juice is left. 

As far as this discount is concerned, it's within $11 of its lowest price on record.

How stylish is this sleek, 7.5-pound beauty? I think it looks far more high-end than its $149 price tag (which happens to be close to an all-time low) would imply. 

LED headlights and 180° steering make for easier maneuvering, and you'll get up to 48 minutes of use per charge. Plus, the self-cleaning brushroll automatically releases hair to save you some headaches.

Last, but certainly not least, let's give it up for one of the lightest vacs on this list! Clocking in at a mere 5.3 pounds, this little lint-lifter will do just as much for your back as it will for your floors.
