The Boston Celtics have their sights set on back-to-back NBA championships. After securing a dominant 3-1 lead in their first-round, Eastern Conference series against the Orlando Magic, they're one game closer to their goal.
While All-Star forward, Jayson Tatum put up monster offensive performances in Games 3 and 4 after missing Game 2 due to a wrist injury, the Celtics' victories have been true team efforts in this series.
Derrick White is leading the team in assists (19) and made 3-pointers (14) while Al Horford is leading the team in blocks (8).
The majority of Horford's blocks came in Game 4's 107-98 victory for the Celtics. Horford, who blocked five shots on Sunday, joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the only players 38 years or older to have at least five blocks in a playoff game in NBA history (per @statmuse on X).
Abdul-Jabbar had two playoff games with five blocks at 38 years or older in his career. He ranks No. 3 all-time in total blocks (3,189), trailing only Dikembe Mutombo and Hakeem Olajuwon.
Horford continues to start for this talented Celtics roster, averaging just over 31 minutes per game in their first-round matchup with the Magic.

Horford is playing in season No. 16 in the NBA across four different teams. He was originally drafted by the Atlanta Hawks with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft. He also spent one season each with the Philadelphia 76ers (2019-20) and the Oklahoma City Thunder (2020-21) before returning for a second-stint with the Celtics.
He was rewarded with his lone NBA championship last season with the Celtics. Horford will become an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
Horford and the Celtics will look to finish this series in Game 5, on their home floor, on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. EDT.
